§ 12-101. Declaration of policy and purpose.

The purpose of this article is to provide the citizens of the county with a procedure for the installation, maintenance and operation of streetlights in certain public rights-of-way in the unincorporated areas of this county. To that end, this article is adopted in order to effect the creation of streetlight tax districts to pay for services rendered by such streetlights.
