§ 6-21. Definitions.

The words, terms and phrases used in this chapter shall have the meanings defined in this section, except where context clearly indicates a different meaning. Words, terms and phrases not specifically defined in this section shall use their ordinarily understood meaning.

Definitions contained in O.C.G.A. Title 31, Chapter 11 and more particularly set forth in O.C.G.A. § 31-11-2 and in Rules and Regulations for Ambulance Services, Chapter 290-5-30 are hereby incorporated by reference; provided, however, that terms defined therein which are not used in this article shall be deemed to be inoperative.

Board means Bulloch County Board of Commissioners.

County means Bulloch County, Georgia.

County registration means an ambulance service registration compliance letter issued by the county that signifies that the ambulance service and its facilities and operations comply with this chapter.

County registration officer means the county manager or his designee.
